For instance, from one of my NetBSD/alpha systems (running a slightly older version of the tools): (gdb) x/x 0xfffffc0000300194 0xfffffc0000300194 <alpha_pal_wrfen>: 0x0000002b (gdb) x/i 0xfffffc0000300194 0xfffffc0000300194 <alpha_pal_wrfen>: call_pal 0x2b (that's also how the code is assembled. the relevant assembly source does "call_pal PAL_OSF1_wrfen", where PAL_OSF1_wrfen is defined to 0x2b). chris
