Could this be the same bug that prevents nm --line-numbers from producing sensible output? I can confirm that it worked with gcc 2.95.2 (can't remember the binutils version, but it was SuSE 7.0). It does not work with gcc-2.95.4 20011002 from Debian unstable. It works with gcc-3.0.4 20020209 from Debian unstable. Regards, Johannes
