    Is this bug supposed to be random at all? I ask because it
seems that the libc.so.6 on a ppclinux box using a redhat srpm
of binutils 2.13.90.0.16-3 doesn't show this TEXTREL yet on debian
ppc sid using effectively the same binutils 2.13.90.0.16 we see it.
Of course our gcc 3.2.2 snapshots are a little different but I
am surprised that both builds of libc.so.6 aren't manifesting this.
