I am attaching the (compressed) log.  They do not look to be related to 
the readelf output change however.  They are all from the the ld-scripts 
set of tests:

  extra regexps in 
/sources/binutils/branches/binutils-2.14.92/ld/testsuite/ld-scripts/provide-1.d 
starting with "^Contents of section .data:$"
  FAIL: ld-scripts/provide-1

  regexp_diff match failure
  regexp "^0+0 D foo$"
  line   "0000000000000000 A foo"
  FAIL: ld-scripts/provide-2
