Ok, I'm past this one. Playing with linker options somehow fixed it (I don't quite know how, but whatever. I am now loading the program, and I get: libhugetlbfs: WARNING: Failed to setup hugetlbfs file for segment 0 I have hugepages reserved at boot, and grep /proc/filesystems shows hugetlbfs.
