Yes. UNA is a an open-source platform that you can use on your own server free of charge. UNA Platform, Core Apps and Free Apps can be downloaded and updated for free, forever. Only access to automatic download and updates of the Pro Apps requires a Pro plan.

There is no limit to how many members or how much content your community can have. Each license covers full-domain use, regardless of the scale. Your hosting infrastructure will define your scaleability, while UNA can be configured to power very large networks. Similarly, UNA Cloud servers will be suitable only up to a certain scale, depending on the nature of your community activity. Once the performance limit is reached, you can either upgrade to a better server or move your site to your own hosting infrastructure.

You can download and update UNA Pro Apps on 1 domain/site with the PRO DIY plan. The Managed plan allows for two domains, usually one testing/staging and one production. Our Tailored plan includes 3 domains or more if needed, so you can have development, staging and production instances licensed or create multi-domain networks.

When you sign up for a service plan you will receive an email outlining how you can connect your UNA site to UNA.IO Market to download and update UNA Core and all the apps. If you sign up for UNA Cloud hosting you would receive instructions on how to launch your site instantly and connect your own domain. We reach out directly to all Pro Managed and Pro Tailored plan subscribers to arrange an onboarding meeting and assisted setup.

You can cancel your subscription any time and migrate the site to your own server if you are using UNA Cloud. You can continue using, managing, and updating your site yourself. If you cancel, we will stop providing support, updates, and backups for your site, but nothing else will stop working.

Running our service, hosting servers, and supporting customers is a significant undertaking, provided at a relatively high cost. We do not offer refunds or discounts of any kind. At the same time, we do not require long-term commitments.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, ACH bank checks, ApplePay, GooglePay, AliPay and Link. Automated payments are securely processed by Stripe. Other payment methods can be arranged for Managed and Tailored plans. Contact us to discuss payment options.

UNA Platform with Core Apps, Free Apps and Pro Apps are licensed under a perpetual MIT license. The software is free to use, modify and re-brand. We collect payments for automated installation, automated updates, extended support, custom modifications, and configuration assistance. We do not control how you use your site, however we reserve the right to stop providing support and update service to any site that violates our Terms of Use.
