Post-lunch guests will listen to a fascinating talk by historian Wally Oppenheim on The Life and Legacy of JS Bach. The talk will cover the life and times of the great composer and organist, from his birth in Germany in 1685 until his death 65 years later.

From the offset his recitalist's credentials are apparent in a collection of confident, jazzy and very English arrangements of JS Bach placed alongside Durrant's distinctive renditions of British Folk tunes and his own evocative pieces.

Thomas The internationally recognised virtuoso will be playing the music of JS Bach at the concert which will raise cash for the church.

JS Bach's Cantata 192 and part of his Ascension Cantata will also feature.

ENJOY an evening of music by JS Bach at St Christopher's Cathedral tomorrow.
