YCHANGE

This is a multilingual platform, so it includes content in a language other than your own.

What is it about?

Remote sensing for Earth observation offers a broad spectrum of possibilities in science and economy. However, it is rarely used in school education so far. The YCHANGE project aims to close this wide gap. The project objectives are

  • improving teachers’ and students’ competence in remote sensing
  • helping students to learn about local and European human-environment interactions and environmental change with digital satellite images
  • facilitating teachers’ and students’ awareness of and interest in jobs that use remote sensing
