The Cheetah is a super-villain legacy of characters with feline characteristics who usually fights Wonder Woman. There have been several different people to use this alias. Some simply wear a cheetah costume, while others are mutated.

The first woman to use the alias was Priscilla Rich during the Golden and Silver Ages. Her successor and niece is Deborah Domaine, the Bronze Age version. Post-Crisis and into the modern continuity, Barbara Minerva becomes the current contemporary version. There has also been a male Cheetah named Sebastian Ballesteros.

Barbara Minerva has been involved with Villainy, Inc., the Legion of Doom, the Injustice League and the Secret Society of Super-Villains.

Cheetah was created by William Moulton Marston and Harry G. Peter, first appearing in Wonder Woman #6 (1943). The Barbara Minerva incarnation was created by Len Wein and George Perez, first appearing in Wonder Woman (Volume 2) #7 (1987).
