Several years ago, the terrorist known as Kobra threatened to destroy Lisbon with a dangerous hydrocarbon weapon. The Justice League members Aquaman, Batman and Green Lantern fought against Kobra, and though the villain escaped, they did succeed in saving Portugal.[1]
There was a Justice League Embassy located here. The Flash (Wally West) once accidentally teleported here instead of Paris, and used Lisbon as a starting off point for an adventure in Casablanca.[2]
