Breck Eisner was born on December 24, 1970 in California, USA. He majored in English and Theater at Georgetown University and attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts where he received his Master's degree.

- He is the son of former Disney CEO, Michael Eisner.
- His name is Michael like his father but, to avoid confusion, he uses a shortened version of his mother's maiden name as his professional first name.
