Description
Regional Council Hevel Modi'in (previously Regional Council
Modi'im) is located is the western sloops of Juda Mounts on their
border with the shore plain, near the city of Lod. City hall is near Sho'am. Est. 1950, pop: 12,000. At the
city hall I noticed both the emblem and a white flag with blue
emblem. The municipal emblem was published in the official
gazette (Rashumot, Yalkut ha-Pirsumim), YP 633, 13
November 1958, for the then Regional Council Modi'im, and was not
replaced when it changed its name.
