Shield Or, a Greek cross fleury gyronny of 8 of Argent and Sable, surrounded by a wreath of wheat ears Vert and poppy flowers Gules, base Sable charged with five alternating barrulets wavy of Argent and Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "S. DOMINGOS - SANTIAGO DO CACÉM".
Meaning:
The cross is alluding to the Dominican Order.

São Domingos was one of the pre-2013 communes of Santiago do Cacém Municipality; it had 854 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 124,2 km².

Coat of Arms
Shield Gules with base wavy of Argent and Azure, five wheat ears Or tied Argent, in chief two oak twigs Or fruited Sable set per fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "VALE DE ÁGUA".
Meaning:
The oak twigs are representing the predominant kind of trees in the commune and the municipality. The wheat ears are symbolising agriculture. The base wavy is representing the Barragem de Campilhas, a centre of recreation activities.
