👋 Hi, I’m Muhammad Ali

🎓 I recently completed my PhD in Machine Learning from MBZUAI, specializing in computer vision and deep learning.
🔬 My research focuses on waste detection, classification, and segmentation, including developing robust architectures, multimodal fusion of RGB & hyperspectral data, and benchmarking Vision-Language Models (VLMs) in cluttered environments.
📚 I have published multiple papers in leading venues such as ** EMNLP, WACV, ICIP, and DICTA**, and contributed datasets and benchmarks (e.g., Waste-Bench).

🌱 I’m currently exploring fine-tuning LLMs/VLMs, RAG systems, and agentic AI frameworks.
💡 I’m especially passionate about AI applications for sustainability and environmental impact.
