Hi 👋, I'm Allyson Barros — Senior Backend & Data Engineer

Hey there! I'm a Senior Backend Developer and Data Engineer with 15+ years of coding under my belt — mostly living in the Python and cloud world. These days, I lead software engineering at Embratur and collaborate with international companies as a consultant.

Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to work on public tech projects across education, health, tourism, and more — always looking for ways to blend data, AI, and scalable infrastructure to solve real problems.

Along the way, I co-authored 12 software patents registered with Brazil’s patent office (INPI) and picked up a few hackathon wins. I’m driven by the idea that great code, when paired with empathy and purpose, can create positive social impact.
