As part of forking, we also took on our own versioning of silex to match the Symfony components Silex will support. v4.x for Symfony 4 components, v5.x for Symfony 5 components etc. The last version of silex/silex was 2.2.4 and supported Symfony 3 and PHP 7.4.
Version 4+ of this fork also support PHP 8
<?php require_once __DIR__.'/../vendor/autoload.php'; $app = new Silex\Application(); $app->get('/hello/{name}', function ($name) use ($app) { return 'Hello '.$app->escape($name); }); $app->run();
Silex works with PHP 7.1.3 or later.
