I am a senior software engineer at Moov Financial. Moov is a fintech company driving innovative solutions in the payments space. I also contribute to open source and participate in hackathons, and I'm also the maintainer and the top contributor for a popular open source repository.

Some fun facts

  • I've founded/co-founded a few companies in the past, including a SAAS platform for real estate developers, an app allowing athletes to compare performance with pro athletes, and a dev consulting agency
  • My favorite programming language is Go, followed by Python, TypeScript (and Node.js), Ruby, Elixir, and then Java
  • I've worked on some relatively large scale projects, including data pipelines ingesting TBs of data on a daily basis (we had an AWS bill that averaged well over $1 million per month), an e-commerce website whose database averaged 12,000 queries per second during average load, and a financial payments platform that handles more than 5,000 requests per second
