Dickson Mbeya

Dickson Mbeya is an award-winning cartographer and an experienced geospatial professional with more than a decade of experience in utilizing geospatial technologies to derive information products. He currently works as Cartography Technician with the Malawi University of Science and Technology. He has have 8 years experience teaching GIS and Remote Sensing in a higher learning institution. Dickson is an expert in utilizing industry standard commercial and open source GIS, mapping and satellite image processing software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Story Map Builder, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Business Analyst, ArcGIS Dashboards, ArcGIS Survey 123, QGIS Desktop, SuperMap iDesktopX, Google Earth pro and Google Earth Engine. He also has expertise in analysing Geospatial data using GDAL, Python and R.
