Hi there 👋, I'm Daniel Moerner!

I'm a Software Engineer at Clerk. I have a PhD in philosophy from Yale University and previously worked as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Chicago. I'm an alum of the Recurse Center, a coding retreat which I recommend for anyone passionate about software engineering.

Some of my recent interests include:

• Peer to peer networks: Check out my BitTorrent tracker etracker and my BitTorrent client pytorrent, which was developed jointly with Lamone Armstrong
• Games or projects designed to be frustrating or annoying: I've written an idle clicker svelteclick and a dissonant music generator badbach.
