jaelliot - Overview

Jay-Alexander Elliot

Senior platform and backend engineer. Ten years in cloud infrastructure, six in production software. I ship reliable systems and own them end to end.

Currently building Gideon — a SOC2-compliant multi-agent AI framework for the legal field — and working on distributed backend systems across Go, AWS, and TypeScript.

What I'm building

Gideon · sakshya.ai
SOC2-compliant multi-agent AI framework. Go MCP server as a custom tool interface; deep-research pipeline; multi-tenant SaaS. Primary market: legal — architecture is flexible enough that other domains are under active evaluation. (Private — inquire for details)

Geckoforge
Reproducible openSUSE Linux distribution built with KIWI NG + Nix + OPA policies. Four-layer architecture: immutable ISO → first-boot automation → user setup scripts → declarative Home-Manager config. Security-hardened, NVIDIA-ready, full OS rollback via Btrfs + Snapper.

Domain background

Six years in healthcare infrastructure and patient-facing systems. Built and deployed a HIPAA-compliant React mobile app for Tigo Health serving ~30,000 patients at a Medicaid-contracted hospital in Southern California. Prior work spans cloud infrastructure, public-sector compliance, and privacy-critical data pipelines on AWS.
