šŸ‘Øā€šŸ’» About Me

I'm a Data Scientist with nearly two years of professional experience and a graduate of Turing College’s data science program.
Before moving into tech, I spent over a decade on the frontline of port logistics — from dockworker, to straddle carrier driver, to operating the world’s largest quay cranes.

Today, I combine deep operational knowledge with machine learning, analytics, and automation to solve real-world problems in heavy industry.

I'm also the co‑author of the df-squeezer package, a Python tool for optimizing dataframe memory usage.

My interests span computer vision, robotics, automation, and applied AI in safety‑critical or industrial environments.

🚢 What I Do Today

As a Data Scientist at MPET Antwerp, I work on analytics, machine learning, and operational optimization in one of Europe’s largest container terminals.

My decade of hands‑on experience—from dockworker to crane operator—gives me a deep understanding of terminal workflows, allowing me to bridge the gap between on‑the‑ground operations and data‑driven solutions.
