There was a Makefile error when I tried this on manylinux2014, so I've skipped that.

hugovk merged commit e1f0def into python-pillow:main

radarhere deleted the xz_wheels branch

I checked with xz about manylinux2014, and they are comfortable with the failure - tukaani-project/xz#170

So I think manylinux2014 can just continue on with the older xz version.
