Hey, I'm Trev

I'm a Junior Technical Project Manager & AI-Enabled Development Assistant at Ventive, helping support software projects from both a technical and organizational perspective.

Outside of work, I'm a Linux nerd, self-hoster, and programmer who loves building tools that make life easier. I enjoy spending time with my wife, watching good shows, and tinkering with my setup more than is probably necessary.

What I like

• Linux all the way (Arch + Hyprland btw, Debian and Fedora are awesome too!)
• My home server built on Debian, Docker, and Tailscale
• Open-source software
• Practical projects over flashy ones

How I build

Most of my projects start as experiments.
The ones I keep working on are the ones I use every day.

That includes:

• Custom dotfile management
• Neovim configs
• Keyboard firmware
• Personal apps
• Other work-in-progress software

AI is an incredibly powerful tool when used practically, and I love exploring what it can do — especially with open-source and local models.

Long-term, I want to build my own software, stay self-hosted, and keep control over my tools and data.
