Hi, I'm Shujie Zhang
I'm completing my B.Eng. in Automation at Tsinghua University (expected July 2026). Then I'll be pursuing my Ph.D. at Shanghai AI Lab, co-advised by Jiangmiao Pang, Xudong Xu, and Xiaokang Yang.
- Research goal: to build robots that perform household chores as skillfully and reliably as human
- Research Interest: long-horizon manipulation, generative simulation, data-centric embodied learning
- Core Questions:
How can we bridge reasoning and control for long-horizon embodied tasks?
How can generative simulation unlock scalable and realistic sim environments for robot learning?
How to close the sim-to-real gap in real-world deployment?
