>From my various attempts to build CVS versions of java packages, it seems to happen again and again that a given package depends not only on a bunch of other java packages, but on some particular version of each of those packages. Yet I've never seen any tool that manages these dependencies in java development projects, particularly the apache project. I haven't even seen anything in the build files that looks like a Perl 'require VERSION' statement. Does anyone know if there's a plan to address this problem (or has it already been addressed and I just missed it somehow)? Susan
