There is an existing ITP for jta a GPL'ed Java telnet/ssh applet.  However
neither of the two people who said they were going to work on this have
done so.  I need it for a webmin module but I'm no java expert so I don't
want to maintain it either.  I do however have a working package which
I've put up at http://people.debian.org/~jaldhar/jta/

What I would like is for someone to polish it up a bit, put their name on
it and upload it.  If they are not a DD I can sponsor them.

Any takers?
