Yes and a more generic way is to set JAVA_HOME and then tell
JAVAC=$(JAVA_HOME)/bin/javac

So you may override it.

If you can't build it with kaffe, let me know... and if you can try it
with 'experimental' kaffe, it could be nice ;-)
