The Black Pyramids were black stone monuments built by the Serpent-Men during the Pre-Cataclysmic Age, still present in Stygia during the Hyborian Age.^[1] The Children of Set (such as the Man-Serpents) were said to be slumbering in caverns below the Black Pyramids.^[2]

The major pyramids were located near Khemi, the religious capital of Stygia.^[1] The Black Pyramids included:

• The Forbidden Temple of Set, a hall of the dead near Khemi.^[3]

Other, seemingly unrelated, Black Pyramids included:

• The Black Pyramids, base of Seth's forces.
