Dakkam is the birth planet of Aquarian and the fifth in its system. Aquarian's father, Hektu, had predicted the planet would be destroyed when the system's star went nova. However, this never occurred.[1]
- In the original Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe #5 and follow-up Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (Vol. 2) #15 profiles for the Dakkamites lists Dakkam as the 5th planet in the Beta Rigel System (Earth Designation). Then in Aquarian and Dakkamites profile list it as the 2nd planet in the R Aquarii system (Earth Designation).
- The planet's name is two letters off from that of a DC Comics planet: Daxam.
