Cardassian fighters were one-person spacecraft used by the Cardassians in the 24th century. They had very high impulse speed and were warp-capable.

In 2370, shortly after the Phoenix was hijacked and taken to the Gamma Quadrant, four Cardassian fighters appeared near Deep Space 9. Despite being warned away, the fighters entered the wormhole in search of the antimatter. (DS9 novel: Antimatter)
