Durga was a 24th century Vulcan woman, a Starfleet lieutenant assigned to the USS Oakland under the command of Captain Amina Ramsey in the 2380s decade.
Biography[]
In the year 2380, Durga joined the crew of the USS Cerritos on temporary assignment along with Ramsey and two others. She visited the planet Khwopa and aided the USS Rubidoux. (LD episode: "Much Ado About Boimler")
In 2381, Durga and Ramsey visited the Cerritos and became trapped on the holodeck by the malevolent artificial intelligence Badgey. Durga told Beckett Mariner that Cerritos was adequate, though inferior to Oakland. During the lower deckers' effort to earn enough merit points for Badgey to release them, Durga admitted that she couldn't think of a tolerable assignment aboard the ship, and agreed to oversee the simulation of Chateau Picard. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Holo-Darkness, My Old Friend")
While trapped, Durga began her pon farr cycle. She dumped a bowl of plomeek soup that Barbara Brinson made for her, just because Brinson was going to pair it with a bordeaux. Durga privately asked Acting Captain Brad Boimler to take the ship to Vulcan, but as they couldn't leave the holodeck, she accepted a simulation of the world. Soon she found herself attracted to Winger Bingston, Jr. and tried to mind meld with him. Once on "Vulcan", a hologram of T'Pol explained that Bingston could either marry Durga, or Boimler could fight her per the rules of koon-ut-kal-if-fee. Bingston refused to marry her and asked Boimler to handle things. After being dodged for 90 minutes, Durga declared that there had been a death — of Boimler's dignity — and her blood fever had faded. She lost all interest in Bingston. (LD video game: The Badgey Directive episode: "Amor Time")
