Halawa Bay was a 23rd century inlet located along the Hawaiian Island of Molokai in the Pacific Ocean on the planet Earth.

History and specifics[]

The city of Halawa was built along the shore of the bay.

In 2286, humpback whales George, Gracie, and their newborn calf Jessie settled for a few days in the channel near Halawa Bay, foraging for fish. Project Nursery's FOMP Onizuka moored about 15 kilometers from the whales to observe them.

Local representative Michael Holokaue and US Marshal Andrea Foreman demanded that Project Nursery remove the whales from the area to protect local fishing. If they refused, Foreman was locally authorized to assume command and take Onizuka to Halawa Bay, where the vessel would await judgment by a local court.
