Molokai

of northeastern Molokai.

Hawaii map of northeastern Molokai.

Molokai was an island, one of the Hawaiian Islands located in the Pacific Ocean on the planet Earth.

History and specifics[]

Key sites on the northeastern side of the island were Halawa, Halawa Bay, Moku-Ho'Oniki, Kanaha Rock, and Pailolo Channel.

In 2286, humpback whales George, Gracie, and their newborn calf Jessie foraged for fish in the channel near Molokai for a few days. Project Nursery's FOMP Onizuka was anchored for observation 15 kilometers away. Molokai representative Michael Holokaue and US Marshal Andrea Foreman visited Onizuka, demanding that Project Nursery remove the whales, afraid they would harm local fishing.
