IKV Falcon was a 23rd century Klingon Empire starship, a D2A variant V'kar Zadan-class ("Stingtongue") class VI destroyer in Klingon Imperial Navy service in the 2270s decade.

Service history and disposition[]

Circa the year 2270, on reference stardate 2/1201, Falcon acted as a disavowable privateer in the Orion Neutral Zone. Falcon ambushed the Larson-class USS Montgomery while it was escorting the Aakenn-class freighter QX-12. During the engagement, Falcon fired both its forward and rear photon torpedo launchers. The Montgomery was destroyed and the freighter disappeared. This incident became known as The Battle for Freighter QX-12. (StarDrive Issue 1: "Tactics of the Imperial Klingon Navy")
