Kamoy syrup was a type of syrup, an oily pink Cardassian consumable.
History and specifics[]
Kamoy syrup was amongst the products Quark was forced to keep in storage after the Cardassian withdrawal from Terok Nor, as the market without Cardassians was rather limited. In the year 2370 Quark tried to get rid of some of the syrup by joining the effort to feed a group of hungry rampaging Horta on the station, hoping he might get some compensation for the loss of his products. Unfortunately Kamoy syrup turned out to be one of the few things the Horta could not stomach, causing the ones that ate some to vomit. (DS9 novel: Devil in the Sky)
