Liam Shaw was a Human man who served in the Federation Starfleet in the 24th and 25th centuries.
Biography[]
In his early Starfleet career, Shaw was an engineer aboard the USS Constance. The ship was called into action during the Battle of Wolf 359 and destroyed by Cube 632. Of the fifty survivors who made it to the ship's last escape pod, Shaw was one of ten chosen at random by a superior officer to enter the pod. The experience left him deeply traumatized, Shaw blaming the loss of life on Jean-Luc Picard, then assimilated into Locutus. (PIC episode: "Disengage")
In 2378, Shaw was the overseer of Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards. When the USS Theseus arrived, needing modifications to reach an extra-dimensional Pleroma, Shaw was convinced to grant the ship an empty berth so his crew could focus on their pre-assigned tasks. On stardate 55624.8, Shaw joined in the Theseus's overhaul, though his contributions mainly amounted to poking holes in the plan. Once the overhaul was completed, Shaw complimented T'Lir on their Kardashev drive they had built. (ST - Pleroma comic: "Part 2")

After decades as a career officer, by the 2390s Shaw was a starship commanding officer, and served as captain of the USS Titan-A. (PIC episode: "The Next Generation")
Legacy[]
By 3195, he would be listed as one of the luminaries of Starfleet Academy on the USS Athena's commemoration wall. (SA episode: "Kids These Days")
