Living ships created when multiple dying Cal-Mirrans merge after approaching their sun the Prism-class is a living and thinking starship that may choose to work with other beings or explore the galaxy on its own. Capable of generating a Soliton wave that they can ride to reach a speed of warp six these ships must recharge their soliton generator in orbit of their homeworld or near other strong electromagnetic fields.
