The CDS Swift Striker was a Cardassian Galor-class starship, outfitted as a dreadnought, commanded by Gul Marak in the year 2370.

Service history and disposition[]

When Swift Striker approached Deep Space Nine it was directed to dock at Pylon 6 (or Lower Pylon 3), opposite the Kovassii ship that was docked at Upper Pylon 3. In order to have Marak's plan to blow up the station backfire, Miles O'Brien and Odo took an explosive found on the station's antimatter containment pod and placed it on the Swift Striker's hull. When Marak triggered the bomb, the ship lost structural integrity and broke up. The crew managed to launch some lifepods. (DS9 novel: Betrayal)
