Ilthuran

For other uses, see Diviner.

Ilthuran was a male Vau N'Akat stargazer that hailed from the planet Solum in the Delta Quadrant. During the 24th century, he was an astronomer that studied the stars, despite the general disinterest that his people felt for the possible existence of intelligence life outside their own system. Later, he became a rebel leader in the Uprising formed to overthrow a dictatorship that Asencia — a Vau N'Akat from the future — established over Solum, which brought him into contact with Gwyndala, the daughter of a version of Ilthuran that hailed from the same future as Asencia.

In this alternate version of events, Ilthuran survived the civil war that decimated his people after the United Federation of Planets made first contact with Solum and travelled back in time to eliminate Starfleet before this event could take place. Christened as "the Diviner", this future version of Ilthuran established himself as the leader of the Tars Lamora Mining Camp, a penal colony where enslaved workers labored to find the USS Protostar, a starship that his people had outfitted with a living construct capable of destroying Starfleet. The Diviner also became the father of Gwyn, who was cloned from his genetics as a means to ensure the survival of their species. (PRD episode: "Lost and Found")

Biography[]

In the 24th century, Ilthuran was an astronomer on Solum.(PRD episode: "Into the Breach, Part II")

By the 2380s decade, the Diviner had established a mining colony on Tars Lamora that was operated by slaves he referred to as the Unwanted. The camp mined for chimerium while the rest of his forces searched for a lost Starfleet vessel, the USS Protostar.

A group of Unwanted escaped aboard the Protostar in 2383, and the Diviner tasked Drednok to recover it without damaging the vessel. Gwyn became an unwilling passenger of the Protostar. (PRD episode: "Lost and Found")

Using the chimerium to cloak Tars Lamora, the Diviner boarded his starship, the Rev-12, to pursue the Protostar into space. (PRD episode: "Starstruck")
