Tier Arooth was a 23rd century Andorian man, a career officer in the Federation Starfleet. By 2287, at the age of 42, he had attained the rank of captain and served in Starfleet Intelligence.
Biography[]
Arooth was born on or around stardate 1/81, in the mid-2240s decade. He attended Starfleet Academy in the mid-2260s and completed two cadet cruises. Over the course of his career, he became an authority in several core command and intelligence areas, including leadership, intelligence procedures, and security procedures. He was professionally qualified in marksmanship, diplomacy, and zero-G operations. He was also qualified in genetics, Federation law, unarmed combat, Orion law, and the Klingonaase language. He enjoyed playing Parcheesi, was a semiskilled boxer, and was a trivia buff regarding tarot cards.
After graduating from the academy, in the early 2270s he spent four years in the Plans and Policies Division and in the late 2270s spent five years in Starfleet's Military Operations Command division. He then returned to Starfleet Intelligence. In the early 2280s he spent one year with the Klingon Activities Unit and another with the Orion Activities Unit. Around 2282, he returned to the Plans and Policies Division.
