The Vovin was an evolved counterpart of the Iconian Empire's Obelisk-class carrier from the primary universe. The Iconian Alliance gifted the Vovin Obelisk carrier to the Khitomer Alliance in 2411. From that year onwards, the Vovin represented its class on the shipyards interfaces operated by New Romulus Shipyards, Klingon Defense Force Order of Builders and Starfleet Shipyards Operations at Khitomer Alliance facilities across the Milky Way Galaxy. Flag officers of the Alliance could deploy the Vovin alongside other spacecraft for assignments across the galaxy's quadrants as part of Operation: Delta Rising's four-quadrant strategy. (STO - New Dawn mission: "Admiralty System")
