SCENE 1
After mailing a letter to Granny Bird, Big Bird notices a "B.B." painted on Gordon and Susan's apartment window. He recognizes this as his initials and believes that people will he think he's responsible for this graffiti. He discovers further markings on the Hooper's Store window before finally seeing the culprit painting the letters on the Fix-It Shop window. The delinquent introduces himself as Bad Barney, who has been painting his initials. Big Bird wants to tell the adults, but Bad Barney grabs him by the beak and threatens some physical violence if he rats him out or cleans the marks off.

SCENE 2Luis arrives to open up shop, so Big Bird hides the graffiti by standing in front of it. He does the same at Hooper's when David comes to open up, and at 123 Sesame Street when Gordon and Susan come out. He darts all over the block to keep the "B.B."s out of sight, until David finally notices the markings in the 123 window, followed by the others. Just as Big Bird suspected, the adults assume Big Bird is responsible. He accidentally lets it slip that Bad Barney did this and tells them about what happened earlier. Everyone gets to work cleaning up the markings, which Big Bird suspects will anger Bad Barney.
