Maria, Luis, and David observe that Oscar has built a hat rack that is sitting outside his can, but the wooden pegs that are supposed to hold the hats are angled down instead of up. Oscar is well-aware of this, and gives the three of them some hats so they can pretend to be visitors. They each go to hang up their hats, which of course slide off the pegs. Oscar is delighted, because now the people who can't hang their hats will have to leave.

SCENE 4
At Hooper's Store, Big Bird enters with Kwame, who has brought in his dog Potzie. David starts to sneeze, explaining to Big Bird that he’s allergic. Big Bird and Kwame agree to take the dog outside, and Big Bird decides to stand guard at Hooper's to make sure no other furry animals will cause David to sneeze. Big Bird spots Mr. Snuffleupagus coming out of his nest area, and quickly pushes David under the counter “for his own good” until Snuffy passes by. David finds it ridiculous that an "imaginary" friend would make him start sneezing, and steps outside to prove it. He begins to sneeze, only because another kid at the Fix-it Shop is holding a cat.
