Description
SCENE 1David, Maria and Luis wait at the bus stop in anticipation for David's grandmother Grace to arrive from her farm for another visit. Oscar isn't too enthused, since he expects it to be another lovey-dovey reunion sure to make him disgusted. Grace's bus arrives and everybody (except Oscar) welcomes her. She gives out presents for everyone: homemade bread for David, a handmade scarf for Maria, a can of pickled tomatoes for Luis... and a genuine rock from the country for Oscar! Grace continues to give him an "old-fashioned grouchin'," saying it's rotten to see him again and hopes he'll have a miserable day. "My heart sings!" Oscar lovingly sighs.
