	SCENE 1	Maria walks down the street and stops in her tracks when she notices Oscar's trash can, which has been beautified with flowers, a clean picket fence, and a welcome mat. A piano version of the Sesame Street Theme plays from inside. She rings the doorbell and Oscar appears, neatly-dressed and talking politely. He explains that he's expecting a visit from his brother Ernest, whom he holds a grudge against for being the favorite kid in their family. Oscar plans to get even with Ernest by acting nice and making him comfortable (even though he can't stand it either).

	SCENE 2	Maria and Luis bump into Ernest, who snidely asks where Oscar's can is. He is shocked to see the new decor, and when Oscar cordially invites him in. Ernest then begins to catch on and decides to throw some niceness back at Oscar. Maria and Luis, who watch nearby from the stoop, laugh at the thought of two grouches acting nice to each other.
