Picture Segment Description
2473a
SCENE 1 Bob and his band rehearse playing the "Sesame Street Theme." Hoots the Owl listens in and thinks it needs a spice of jazz. He jams on his sax with the band and sings the theme song. Oscar comes by and wants them to play it his way now, with plenty of wrong notes and new grouchy lyrics. Hoots and Oscar disagree on which way is better, eventually performing their versions together. Bob tells them they can both like the song either way they like it, but it doesn't sound great together. The two disagree; Oscar likes the racket it makes and Hoots considers it "experimental jazz."

Oscar is frustrated by this and Maria jokingly assures him they'll come back around as he tries to yell his rebuttals. Bob announces the sponsors and adds, "Oscar, you are so cute!" which frustrates Oscar even more.
