Description
COLD OPENSavion has Elmo look into his “Magic Circle” (which has an echo effect every time Savion says it) and asks him to picture what he wants to see. Elmo says that he wants to see today's sponsors, a cartoon rabbit, and Ernie and Bert, all of which appear within the circle.
SCENE 1
Elmo and Savion watch as the Count counts the letters in a newspaper. ("I can always count on the news!" he says.) Savion uses his magic circle and asks the Count to think of something he'd really like to count; the Count requests some rubber stamps...

The magic circle closes on the previous segment, and the Amazing Mumford runs to Savion and Elmo in a huff. He is upset that a non-magician possesses a magic circle and presents his own, which turns out to really be a square. He displays his other magic circle, which isn’t a circle either but rather a triangle. Using the magic circle, Savion and Elmo show him what one looks like...

A young man carrying a brown paper bag walks up to the bridgekeeper and asks him if he works there. The bridgekeeper orders the young man to show him whatever circles are in the bag, and to eat them. The young man is ordered to eat three round foodstuffs: a cookie, a pepperoni pizza, and a slice of watermelon. Once the young man is granted permission to cross the bridge, however, he tells the bridgekeeper that he was merely trying to deliver the latter's groceries. (First: Episode 1582)

Elmo wants to see Ernie in his circle, so Mumford waves his wand to make Ernie appear, but makes his circle disappear instead. Elmo invites Mumford to join but Mumford still insists he has his own magic, though he ends up making several crates appear on the garage staircase instead. Savion begins his lesson: first, you take a crayon and draw a big circle on some paper, and that's it. Mumford waves his wand at his paper, but makes a pineapple with a saxophone on it appear. Savion then reveals the “magic” aspect is all just imagination. Elmo uses his magic circle to imagine a museum...
