Description
SCENE 1Big Bird and Baby Bear stand on opposite sides of the construction wall, eager to have a playdate with their respective best friends. Telly rushes up to Baby Bear and breaks it to him that he can't play today as he will be visiting his grandma. Likewise, Miles drops by Big Bird's nest to inform him that Snuffy can't make it as he's taking Alice to the library. Big Bird and Baby Bear sadly lean on opposite sides of the wall, wondering what they're going to do.

SCENE 3
Baby Bear orders some porridge from Alan at Hooper's Store and tells him about his problem. Big Bird arrives shortly for a birdseed milkshake and also vents his dilemma. Alan suggests the obvious solution that they play together, and the two are skeptical about it but decide to give it a try. They soon find themselves happily chanting, "Hey hey hey, let's play, play, play!"

Cori's friends come visit and play before her nap. Even though Cori has braces on her legs, she is seen having lots of fun; the next day, her brothers run with her during a race.

SCENE 4
The two return to Big Bird's nest, and wonder how they should start playing. Baby Bear says Telly would usually rush to him excitedly, so Big Bird tries imitating him. Baby Bear then tries to replicate the slow, low way Snuffy greets Big Bird, and the two have fun greeting each other over and over until they can think of a game to play.

SCENE 5
Baby Bear says that usually when they play, Telly would boing on his pogo stick and he would count the boings. They almost quit their playdate when Big Bird says he can't ride a pogo stick, but realize that he can do the counting while Baby Bear does the boinging. Baby Bear fetches his stick and bounces twenty times, and the two have fun!

Big Bird says that Snuffy was going to read from his giant copy of Snuffleupagus Nursery Rhymes, so Baby Bear tries to do the same. He attempts to pick up the book, but falls over with the book on top of him. Luckily, he finds he can still read the book and tells Big Bird versions of "Hickory Dickory Dock" and "Old Mother Hubbard" that star Snuffleupaguses.

They see Miles leading a letter B chant with the kids outside, which reminds them how they both have two names that start with B. They come up with their own cheer: "Buh-buh-buh-buh Big Bird! Buh-buh-buh-buh Baby Bear!"

Snuffy returns shortly after, and he joins the fun as the "Biggest Buddy." The four friends have fun with the chant, and Big Bird and Baby Bear are happy they gave playing together a try.
