SCENE 1 | Big Bird finishes drawing today's sponsors when he brings the viewer's attention to Telly, who is very concerned about his hamster Chuckie. He explains how Chuckie hasn't been running on his hamster wheel lately, which he loves to do, and has just been lying around getting chubbier for about a week. Big Bird thinks Chuckie needs a laugh, so he and Telly try to elicit one out of him by singing "Rubber Chuckie," which doesn't work. They then consider that Chuckie may be sick, and remember that Gina is studying to be a veterinarian and start calling for her. |

SCENE 2 | Gina asks Telly some questions about Chuckie's state. Finally, she asks if Chuckie has been around any other hamsters lately. Telly recalls that last month Chuckie played with Elizabeth's hamster Herman, and Gina, using her previous experience of owning a hamster, breaks it to Telly that Chuckie is going to have babies. Telly is very surprised to learn that Chuckie is a girl (learning that the pet store where he got her was wrong), and even more surprised that the babies could be born any minute now! In a panic, he calls for a taxi to take Chuckie to a hospital. |

SCENE 3 | A taxi arrives, but the taxi driver (Stephanie D'Abruzzo) assures Telly that a visit to the hospital is not necessary for hamsters: like Gina, she had a pet hamster when she was a kid and it did just fine staying in its cage. Gina and Big Bird then help Telly make a list of what the baby hamsters will need, which includes wood chips for Chuckie's cage, tiny teddy bears for the babies (per Telly's suggestion), and a camera to take baby pictures. He leaves, first asking Chuckie not to have the babies until he gets back. |

SCENE 4 | Telly finishes his shopping at Hooper's Store and asks Alan about the pet toys he may have. Alan doesn't have anything appropriate for baby hamsters but he does give him a popsicle stick for the baby hamsters to chew on, as his hamster Toshi used to chew on a block of wood when he was a kid. He helps carry Telly's bags over to the table in the yard where Chuckie's cage is and they unpack and go over everything they got, which also includes a baby-sized hamster cage and their very own wheel to run on. Big Bird and a couple of kids show off the animal pictures they drew while Telly was gone for the babies to look at after they're born. |

SCENE 5 | Telly thanks the kids for the pictures they made, and they toss around ideas of what else to do for the babies. Telly remembers Maria telling him that babies can hear from inside their mothers before they're born, so Big Bird tries talking to them. Telly decides they should tell the babies something they'll need to know after they're born, so everyone sings "The Alphabet Song." |

SCENE 7 | Gina has a drink at Hooper's and discusses the happenings of the day with Alan when they hear Telly shout "FOUR!!" from outside. Telly rushes to the window, announcing that four baby hamsters have just been born! They all rush over to admire them with their sleeping mother, and think about what to name them. Telly suggests Curly, Moe, Larry, and Chuckie for male names and Amy, Meg, Beth, and Rita for female names. Since their gender is unknown at this time, Big Bird thinks they should name them One, Two, Three, and Four. |

SCENE 8 | The gang says goodbye to Telly, Chuckie, and the baby hamsters, and Gina tells Telly he did a great job taking care of them. When he's alone, Telly looks at the babies and reflects on what a magical day he's had as an instrumental of "Little Things" plays. He recalls witnessing the miracle of birth as the four little hamsters arrived. "It was like seeing the world's greatest magic trick, only magic is with ping-pong balls and cards and stuff you just like, but the second I saw each baby... I loved it." he says. He tells them all how much he loves them. |
