SCENE | Baby Bear takes his little sister Curly out for a ride in her stroller. When it's time for her nap, Baby Bear says he's all prepared for his “fool-proof napping system” and shows off the things he has for Curly's naptime: her blanket, her dolly, and finally her favorite book, Find the Bears. He remarks how well the story works when it comes to her nap and starts reading, pointing out the various locations of the illustrated bears (which all rhyme with "bear"). Baby Bear is shocked when he sees that his system didn't work, and Curly remains awake. He tries reading the book again, but with no success. With nothing else planned, Baby Bear resorts to begging for her to sleep, only to have Curly grab his ear instead. |

SCENE cont'd | Maria and Gabi pass by and Baby Bear tells them of his problem. Maria suggests he try a lullaby, and the three of them sing "Duérmete Mi Niña," which Maria used to sing to Gabi. Curly seems to fall asleep, but moments after Gabi and Maria leave, Curly sits back up wide awake. Out loud, Baby Bear wishes something would help put her to sleep. |

SCENE cont'd | Suddenly, a big puff of smoke appears and in comes the Fairy Napmother, who has come to grant his wish. After getting the lowdown on what Baby Bear's tried so far, the Napmother tries some of her sparkling magic fairy dust and a magic rhyme, but even that doesn't get Curly to sleep. Seeing how poorly she has done, she decides to take a nap herself and poofs away. |

SCENE cont'd | Oscar bursts out of his trash can to tell Baby Bear to tone down the sweetness. Baby Bear explains his predicament, and Oscar makes a deal to put her to sleep in exchange for quiet. Oscar commands his pets (Fluffy, Spot, and Lassie) to make noise down in his trash can, which (despite Baby Bear’s disbelief) actually succeeds in putting Curly to sleep! Baby Bear complements Oscar and begins trying to thank him as Curly slips off into dreamland. |
